Volunteer Form
In order to make it absolutely easy to volunteer for the Mardi Gras Celebration on February 18th, we have set up this online volunteer form. See below for a description of what each activity involves.
Here is a brief description of each of the volunteer activities that we need help with. Feel free to sign up for as many as you would like!
Set-Up
Usually occurs on the Friday before Mardi Gras (February 17th) from 8am-5pm. The gym is closed to the students on this day. We hang banners from the ceiling, decorate walls, tables, lobby etc. PTN will supply pizza and pop for all of the hard workers!
Bakers
Mardi Gras has been known for 3 things: our food, our raffle baskets and our sweet table! We are in need of bakers for our sweet table. The items can be dropped on Friday or you can bring them with you when you come to the party.
Front Table (1 hr shift)
We need approximately 3 people for each 1 hour shift to sell tickets and hand out necklaces.
Bar (1 hr shift)
We have 2 bars set up in the gym where we serve pop, hurricanes, beer and wine. We usually have 2 bartenders at each bar.
Kitchen (1 hr shift)
Food and chips are served and we need at least 4 people in the Kitchen Stand for each shift.
Raffle Tickets (1 hr shift)
Every year we surpass our expectations of raffle items! We need 2 volunteers, per shift, to sell raffle tickets until about 9pm.
50/50 Raffle (1 hr shift)
Raffle tickets are sold for this raffle throughout the evening.
Clean Up
We need assistance cleaning up at midnight for the major items. In addition, we will need assistance on Monday morning putting all of our decorations away.
